I've enjoyed working with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in a multi-year Best Practices
Scorecard engagement to establish a global marketing planning process, enhance the marketing
organization and skill set, and establish operational marketing metrics. I've worked with
ALLTEL Communications and National City Corporation with the ASPEN Process to assess and
find the best agency resources with the "right" cultural and strategic fit. Recently, I've completed an
engagement with Delta Air Lines and their agency to strengthen their partnership and clarify roles.
I am a strategic and analytical marketer with significant client side experience in the
healthcare, consumer package goods and consumer hardlines industries. I have been
responsible for multimillion-dollar brands and budgets, and have launched multimillion-dollar
new products for Procter & Gamble (Paper Division), Nestle (Nutrition Division), Skil-Bosch
Power Tool Company (Dremel Division), and Schering-Plough (Wesley Jessen Division). I bring a
high level of accountability and "real world" implementation reality while building
relationships with clients.
I have a BS in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA in Marketing and
Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, where I was also selected
to develop and facilitate a leadership development course for first year MBA students.
My home is in Avon Lake, OH, where I enjoy time with my family and watching my three children
grow up. I coach soccer, softball and baseball for my daughters and son. I serve on the
Building Committee, and have served on Council and Long Range Planning committees for my
church. I also mentor local area youth and students at my alumni institutions. When I have
spare time, I enjoy music, like to do woodworking and watch college football and basketball –
my wife says I'm much more involved than ‘watching'.
